Taste of the Caribbean
What is Taste of the Caribbean?
Taste of the Caribbean at Paradigm Gardens is your escape to island flavor and rhythm in the heart of New Orleans. Spend the evening in our lush outdoor garden venue enjoying Caribbean-inspired dishes that are bold, bright, and delicious. Live island music keeps the energy high while you sip, stroll, and soak up the vibe under the lights. Bring your friends, come hungry, and expect a night that feels like a mini vacation without leaving the city. Each listing includes the date, start time, and event details so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive. Check back often for updated info and new Taste of the Caribbean Night dates added throughout the year.

What’s on the Menu?
Each star-studded cast of chefs loves cooking at Paradigm Gardens, interacting with patrons and putting on a show over the wood-fire oven and grill. The menu will have multiple vegetarian, vegan options. The menu will consist of Jerk chicken, Jamaican rice & peas, Caribbean greens, Trinidadian doubles, as well as two other sides like plantains and baked macaroni. We release the menu the week leading up to the Taste of the Caribbean in our newsletter and Instagram. Follow us below.
Who is Cooking?
The night features an all-star group of award-winning chefs: Chef Lisa Nelson (Queen Trini Lisa), Chef Charly Pierre (Fritai), Chef Johnny Haughton (Johnny's Jamaican Grill), & Chef Charles Blake (14 Parishes).
What about Alcohol?
Mixed drinks (rum) and local craft beer are also included in your ticket price. You MUST BE 21+ to drink.
What should I Wear?
Paradigm Gardens is an outside real garden, so dress accordingly. There are many brick walking paths but there is also grass so high heels are not recommended. Generally, people dress polished-casual, but it is New Orleans after all, so come as the spirit guides you (formal attire, casual, or in costume 🥳)
What is the Difference Between the Two Entry Times?
Nothing except for that one starts later. Same delicious food, same pulsating music, same immaculate vibes.
